Multiple times per ride heart rate or speed and cadence will drop out and go blank. Some problems I've been dealing with for the last year: I have the Strada Smart and would not recommend any Cateye Bluetooth smart cyclocomputer. Thank you for your recommendations, any help is appreciated! Keep on riding. I'm not really into racing, but I'd like to improve by having data, power, cadence, possibly temperature too, just for reference. I'm also skeptical about it, as I do prefer the black and white screen of the padrone, just think it looks cool. I could go up to the edge 520, but there are many complaints about buggy software, and I'm not sure if international maps could be used with it (probably yes, as per dcrainmaker recommendations). The edge 25 is really nice, and price is comparable to the cateye unit, but no power meter compatibility and a poor battery life kind of sorts it out for me. Now, for what it's worth, it might just be better to go for a garmin unit. Strava integration is highly preferable, and I'm wondering if you need to be premium to display recorded cadence and power data, as I would ideally love to see them. I always carry my phone with me anyway, and cheaper cateye products seem to have worked by adding those stronger neodymium magnets to the sensors. Now, I don't have a powermeter, but it seems like a growing market and if next year prices lower <$500 then I'd consider it so power meter compatibility is important. I have seen the cateye padrone smart plus and it looks quite interesting as it seems to be compatible with iphone AND potentially stages powermeter. I am posting this because I have only seen posts talking about the wahoo element or the cateye stealth. Looking for a new cyclecomputer for my bike, and I'd like to try a cadence sensor.
